Everything exceeded expectations. The property was beautiful and had great views of the beach and sea. The dining area was especially nice and the food was varied and delicious.

I loved touring the beautiful grounds, amenities, beach access and the watersports activities that could be done or purchased from the site. The staff were always friendly and helpful, "Jambo, Jambo!" Even saw one of them at a bazaar in stone town and he was the same cheerful person (Sadick from the poolside bar). The hotel is true luxury and lives up to its name.

We had a very special experience in Riu palace hotel. The team was very nice and happy, the food was very good. I also had swahili lessons from the team, and yoga lessons and it was very fun!! I'm sure I will come back again.

Everything works perfectly. The room is very clean, service is excellent and food is great. Amazing location, one of the best spots to see the sunset. It says that the hotel is located in Nungwi but actually it is closer to Kendwa, which was even better.

Lovely Hotel on one of the best beaches in Zanzibar, we had a wonderful stay. Super clean and stylish rooms. Premium drinks included on all inclusive package. Staff are fantastic and so friendly and a few little nice extras we were not expecting which was a nice surprise.

We had an enjoyable 8-night stay at Riu Palace, and our experience with the hotel's amenities, the warm hospitality of the staff, and the engaging nightly activities left a positive impression. We'd like to extend our gratitude to Mr. Ajith George, whose exceptional service enhanced our stay. His daily attentiveness at the pool and bars, assistance with restaurant reservations, and more made our time here truly special & also to Mr.Rashid who was making sure to have the best moment at the pool or at the night activities .

Beautiful beach, very nice room, great restaurant, amazing people. The cleaning is great too, always a nice fresh scent in the room. I absolutely recommend though to just stick to the main restaurant (lots of options, fresh tasty food). Bed is really big and comfortable.

Really good food and drinks of all inclusive. We manage to reserve restaurants for 3 of 4 days. Nice beach and pool. Hotel very well maintained. The staffs are excellent!

Rooms Comfortable, with a good value for money for what is paid, even though you can realise that they are aged, they are very well cleaned. Beach Definitely the best beach in Zanzibar, no bar service at the beach, but the view and the see are stunning. Downside is every 2 min somebody at the beach approaching to sell something. Food Average as any other resort. Even in the restaurants that you have to book, most of times no availability at all, we manage to get it through the administration. Wine selection very restricted. Infra structure There are many places that the hotel is reforming and painting, as the resort is old. Maybe looks to better timing to do that not in the peak season. Service & Staff Staff service is OK. Is not at the standard of top resorts, but do not let you down, they are agile, and always available.

Check in was fast! The staff were very friendly. The hotel is modern and secure! I felt safe at all times here. The security at the gate take their job very serious. Anytime we left in a car they thoroughly questioned the driver. Samson at the reception desk was so nice!! The spa was amazing!
